Angela Herrera Lockhart is an original Salvadorian, who was brought up in Sacramento, CA. She commended each New Year’s with a glass of wine even as a youthful kid. Her grown-up life venture was molded through her examinations abroad through UC Davis. Angela had the joy and benefit of living in Granada, Spain for one year while considering History and Spanish at the University of Granada. Amid her year abroad she visited Italy, France, Portugal, and Morocco. “Europe is the place I experienced passionate feelings for wine,” says Angela. She recalls her first table wine, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo… like it was simply yesterday. That year changed as long as she can remember as she came back to the U.S. at the ready age of 21 as a wine-o! In spite of the fact that Angela’s vocation way was a long way from the wine business her energy for wine never died down. Angela worked in different deals, deals the board and business advancement positions for a long time before turning into a piece of Jocelyn Lonen. Only four months before her movement to Napa in 2007 Angela snatched a rucksack, climbing shoes and a restricted ticket to South America!
