In some specific country like England you can often see something called “Prawn Cocktail Sauce” in the appetizer menu. It is similar from the North America that involves crustaceans ( same idea but potentially different size)  and there’s always a sauce in dip. The sauce that they usually using is the seafood sauce or cocktail sauce or Marie Rose sauce. But it is something different with regards to the cocktail sauce of North America.   • 3 tbsp horseradish
  • 15 drps hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp salt


  1. In a small mixing pan combine all the ingredients steak sauce,lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, 36 ounce ketchup, horseradish and pepper sauce.


Pomegranate Gelee


  • I cup sugar
  • 16 ounce pomegranate juice
  • I cup green grapes ( seedless)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 ½ cup of water.


  1. Procedures: in a saucepan combine the pomegranate juice, orange juice, sugar, and water over in a heat temperature whisk occasionally Reduce heat the wait to dissolve completely.
  2. Transfer in a mixing bowl and divide it into 8 cocktail glass. Refrigerate until its fluffy for about 3 hours.


Classic Cocktail sauce


  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Kosher salt
  • 8 dashes hot pepper sauce


Recipe Preparation

  1. Stir in a mixing bowl the four ingredients chili sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce and then season salt to taste. These can be made in advance and best chilled in 5 days.


Spicy Cocktail Sauce


  • 2 tsp horseradish
  • 1 c ketchup
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Tabasco
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp ground pepper black


  1. In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients and stir. It will keep, covered and refrigerated, up to 1 week.
  2. Using small bowl combine all ingredients and mix to blend well. Once blend, put cover and refrigerate  up to 1 week.


Boothbay Harbor Cocktail Sauce


  • 3/4 Cups tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 Cup Chili Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Prepared horseradish
  • 1 Teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Fresh Chopped Cilantro



  1. Mix all the ingredients and chill for about 1 hour and serve in a small cocktail glasses. Try it with lobster or claws.
